How do you get to a chat room to tell people about your website?

If one has a web site, one may very well wish to advertise it. It makes sense. To get into a chat room, one must find a chat room. A google search with the argument "chat rooms" will yield thousands or more. Browse and pick one, then go. The welcome window will ask that a user sign up to use the room. There is a form, and it asks for email address and stuff like that. A user will have to sign up to chat. The site offering space to chat will have some kind of shell or frame to chat in, and the small application for this will have to be downloaded and run. There is usually a lot of on-screen help if things don't go right, but the sites that host chat generally have had their applications written by clever people so users (or potential users) won't get frustrated trying to sign up, download the app, run it and then log on to actually chat. Having done all that, all one need do is go into a room and post an ad. Open a word processing program (or even a "create mail" window) in which to type your ad. It might look like this: "Check out my great pictures of Formula 1 cars! You'll find those and everything else Now highlight the ad you've created and do a "control c" to copy in onto the clipboard. That will let you do a "control v" to paste it wherever your curser happens to be. Slide on into the chat room and paste up your ad. Jump around from room to room on a given site and paste your ad and then move on. Sign up for chat access at multiple sites and go there to post your ad. Lots of rooms at lots of sites means lots of advertising opportunities. That's how it might be done. But there's a catch. (Isn't there always?) Web sites that host chat have Terms of Service (TOS) that ask users of a room to respect the terms and conditions under which the cyberspace is being provided. A lot of folks don't bother to read the TOS before signing up and going off to chat, and that's okay. As long as the person entering a chat room is there to chat (which is why the room is there) and not to post advertising. Posting ads in a chat room is another form of spam. Spam is, or course, unsolicited advertising. And posting ads in chat rooms is an across-the-board violation of the TOS of all hosting sites. A spammer can (will) end up getting reported and then, if his actions are persistent or particularly over the top, he will be blocked and unable to log on. Ads in chat rooms annoy users who are there for the purpose of, well, just chatting. They don't want the space to be messed up with what they consider cybergraffiti. Posting ads in chat rooms in a no-no, and a user (an abuser) won't last long on a site if that is his motivation. The hosts of chat have a lot of practice dealing with spam and have little (no) tolerance for it. Smart people (thinking people) don't bother to do it any more because the consequences are quickly and decisively handed out. A better question might be this one: I need some visitors at my new web site and I need them right away. How can I get the word out about my web site so I'll get lots of hits?

How does the braille work when trying to get regice on Pokemon emerald?

The braille is trying to tell you how to open the room where Regice is: "Stay close to the wall. Run around one lap." Stay as close to the wall as possible and run around the entire room (don't exit) and the door will open.

How do you make your own chat room?

Simple, go on to Chatroll (http://chatroll.com) and you can create your own chat in under 60 seconds. If you already own a website / blog, you can also embed the chat into your website! That way, your friends and current visitors can just go to your site as usual. Here is a blog article on how to creating a chat in 3 easy steps: http://blog.chatroll.com/how-to/add-a-blog-chat-room-in-3-easy-steps I have been searching for years for one of the original chat rooms...one where you just talk about life...not being single and needing a date or more than that. Is it that I just can't get my keywords right in my questions? Or, is it that there are not longer people who think of nothing else but you know? I used to be able to talk to people around the world about what my life here was like and the difference of how their life was there. So, if you can, let me know how I can start a chat room that deals with things like this instead of #$%& like that. I am a 58 year old student who really wants to talk when things bug me or intrigue me...no matter what time of day or night it is. So, could you give me the answer to how I would start (or restart) a chat room like that? crisslee53@yahoo.com how to create a chatroom
