Yes it is. in free play mode or whenever you have a "monkey character" Sometimes ther'll be a red pad that you might have to biuld and then you stand on it and touch the monkey that apppears on the bottom screen of the DS, then you can run around and jump and stuff. The monkey can't attack or pull anything, but it can climb special vines.
