In Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time and Explorers of Darkness, players obtain Arceus by completing a special mission called "Defeat Arceus!" in a post-game location known as Destiny Tower. The mission is unlocked after reaching a high floor in the dungeon and requires a strong team to defeat Arceus in battle. Once defeated, Arceus will join your team as a recruitable Pokémon.

Sadly you cannot recruit Arceus or Shaymin in Explorers of Time AND Darkness. they weren't exactly programmed in the game, maybe they were... but their programmers surely didn't put them in there. Perhaps in the next Mystery Dungeon, those two will make an appearance.

Not possible! Primal Arceus never existed. There was only ever a Primal Dialga in Mystery Dungeon 2, and you have to defeat him, and restore the Temporal Tower, which returns him to being a normal Dialga.

he is in both and you might want to buy Pokemon mystery dungeon sky. unlike the other two it has the ability to recruit shaymin! also when you recruit manaphy,dialga,and palkia you can EVOLVE your starters at luminous spring and even get the item exclusive to the game SPACE GLOBE and find the ARCEUS statue at destiny tower!
