It happens. Was/is it a lower wisdom tooth? The inferior alveolar nerve travels through the lower jaw, this is the nerve the dentist "numbs" to work on a bottom tooth. Lower wisdom tooth problems often cause an ear ache. It could be an infection, it could be the nerve was bruised, it could be do to normal healing with a little swelling. Tell the dentist/oral surgeon.
you have nerves all thru your head, teeth, ears, ect. pain can transfer all thru the face and head. just had mine out in june. my one ear hurt, that tooth on that sidewas impacted. dont feel suprised if it feels like your ears pop to.
The trigeminal nerve goes to all those places. When the nerve is irritated by the removal of the tooth, you can feel pain everywhere the nerve goes. You will probably recover, after possibly a week.
I recently had mine removed and I felt no ear pain at all.
Ear aches are one of the symptoms of dry socket. Get that checked out asap!
Yes
Yes, you can experience ear pain when you have a toothache. It is very common and it can also cause headaches and eye pain.
It could very well be a wisdom tooth trying to cut. When a wisdom tooth begins to cut, it can move several teeth in the process and cause some jaw pain. The ear pain could be drainage if a wisdom tooth is cutting. A few painkillers are your best bet to help the pain, or you could opt to have the wisdom teeth removed surgically. It could also be a sinus infection or infection in a root tooth. A dentist's x-ray is the best plan.
If its stuck in your ear, trying to get it out will hurt. Just have someone you trust get tweezers and pull it out. And when I say it will hurt, it will really hurt. I'm not trying to scare you just warn you. Good luck.
Ear problems are possible but usually secondery symptoms to a third molar tooth eruption. The primary symptoms would usually be swelling and/or pain to the teeth and gum tissue, and bone in the area near the erupting tooth.
My ear bled today after having a wisdom tooth pulled. I'm assuming it's because the ears nose and throat are connected and it's residual blood from the gum.
Don't pull out your ear. The ear wasn't made for this. It could have unpleasant consequences. If you really want to know how far you can pull out your ear, well, as much as it lets you to pull it out.
Yes it can temporally hurt the ear but the ear will recover
Yes, if the tooth is infected it can cause swelling in the jaw joint, it can also cause the same swelling if the tooth keeps extending and rectracting
Usually they take what is called a piercing gun and they will clean the ear, then mark where you want it, if it is satisfactory they will place a piercing in the gun put it on you're ear and pull the trigger. It doesn't hurt much more than a hard pinch, but remember the higher you're piercing is the more it will hurt.
if loud noises hurt your ear you may have an inner ear infection, have you been to the doctor lately?
i an answering the question ( does stcreching your ear hurt?) right i have my ear percied 2 time on each ear, and on my right ear i have a 6g streching, going from a 0.00g to a 4g didnt hurt at all, it was a litlle pop and it was streched then the 6g one hurt i didnt cry it just hurt a little. so the higher you go the more it will hurt.
AnswerIt could be related to your wisdom tooth coming in, but you also have lymph nodes in that area, too. If the lump has been there for several weeks and doesn't seem like a pimple or other minor skin irritation, I'd seek medical advice soon. Pain isn't always an indicator of a serious issue. It may turn out to be nothing at all, but it might give you peace of mind to hear it from a doctor. Another Answeri have the same problem but my dad wont take me to the doctor. the only difference is that sometimes mine will hurt alot.
