Yes, but it wouldn't be a total solar eclipse. It would be an annular eclipse.

The Sun is so far away that the difference between its size when it's at its maximum distance versus its minimum distance is small.

The Moon, on the other hand, is about 30% smaller when at its maximum distance than it appears at its minimum distance. At its maximum distance, it appears smaller than the sun, and thus can't fully cover the Sun's disc.
