try curling shampoos and curling creams, also mousse helps, but you really should embrace your natural texture! straight is beautiful, so is curly, wavy, and relaxed. People everyday hurt themselves with flat- irons just to get your hair type! Embrace the straight!

It is possible to straighten your hair. While using a chemical to straighten it will damage your hair after repeatedly doing so, there is a less damaging alternative.

You will need a pick/comb, a blow-dryer, a product to put on your hair before such as a straightening balm, a good iron.

The first thing you have to do is pick out your hair. Use a blow-dryer now to give it some heat. This will make your hair look like a bomb went off on it. You have to look bad to get it to look good. After combing it out thoroughly, you will need to use a product to put on your hair before using a high grade iron to straighten it. This is very important as when you use the iron on your hair, it is the product that is being burnt off and not your hair. There is no need to put too much in as you don't want to overdo it.

I am lucky enough to have a hairdresser that loves to blow dry hair straight when I get my tight curly hair cut. The process takes about 45 minutes for a professional to do it for you. If you try to do it yourself, it will take longer. I suggest finding a friend to help you to get those places in the back and upper portions of your hair that you can't see. After it's all done, I keep the straight look for about 4 days and when I finally condition my hair, my curls bounce back to normal. Just a reminder, try to stay away from water, rain etc. as this will make your curls come back! I like having straight hair every now and then but it just takes too long. If you are willing to take the time, then you can do this too.

What type of hair will two curly hair parents have?

Yes! It's more likely that the child would have straight hair, but it's all about the genes. Likely both of the straight-haired people have straight-hair dominant genes; if that's true, then there's about a 25% chance that the child would have curly hair. If the parents or even grandparents had curly hair when they were younger, it's more likely as well. For example -- both of my parents have straight hair (but my mom had curly hair when she was younger) and my sister has straight hair as well. I turned out to have curly hair.

I have naturally curly hair. How do I get permanently straight hair without having it chemically straightened?

There is no way to make your hair permanently straight if your hair is naturally curly without using any chemicals. However you can use a relaxer once to straighten your hair but it is a chemical or you can also try keratin treatments.

My dad has curly hair my mom has straightwavy hair I have curly hair in the front wavy afterwards and straight in the back isn't you hair supposed one thing and not three?

well normal people have one way. and no im not saying your not normal but that's the only thing i could think of to say lol It's very common for people to have a variety of textures and wave/curl patterns on their head. It's perfectly normal! It might make it more challenging to achieve the perfect curls, but it's still possible! mine is the same. mum and dad have curly hair but mine is curly where it's short and dead straight where its long. so this makes my fringe really really curly, any layers i have mildly curly and long bits really straight. what i find works is having all my hair the same length ( either short or long, no matter) and then its all either straight or curly. or you can straighten the curly bits or curl the straight bits. its up to you. :) good luck
