Just let the computer run on battery power until its completely drained, then recharge it fully.
This is called a "recalibration" and can increase battery performance. However, if you want to completely "extend" battery life, you could just get an external source, like a case with an extended battery, a device to charge gadgets anywhere you go, etc etc.
The battery life of a Mac and Dell cannot be directly compared, as they depend completely on the model. There are models of each brand that have battery lives that would be better than the other brand's.

Direct Methanol Fuel Cell(DMFC)Buy a Mac; my macbook pro has a 7hr battery life; the macbook pro 17" has a 8hr battery life(this is one of the IT question, buy a mac isn't going to help. they need answer to help there review.)
A slow wake-up on your Mac can be caused by several factors, including background processes that are consuming system resources, outdated software, or issues with connected peripherals. It's also possible that your Mac's energy-saving settings are configured to prioritize battery life over performance. Additionally, if your hard drive is nearly full or if the system has not been rebooted in a while, this can impact wake-up speed. Checking for software updates and managing startup items may help improve the situation.
You can install Windows on a Mac. You could delete Mac OS X but then you would not have a Mac so it would be rather pointless as you may as well have purchased a Windows computer to start with. Not entirely true. My long experience has taught me that Mac hardware is generally more reliable, the screens are usually better, and battery life and lifetime of Windows PCs is pathetic compared to the Mac. The only downside is getting used to the different keyboard...
Usually, macs have longer battery life out of the box. PCs have removable batteries (unlike the integrated battery in macs) so a user could upgrade to a better battery if wanted.
Only aim for mac will work on a mac
pull the battery out :P
No I'm just playing it on my mac now.
