It probably isn't recommended to lose that much weight in such a short amount of time... i would suggest five pounds a month as opposed to ten... however, i suppose it could be done with a balanced diet and constant cardio and weight lifting workout routines, swimming and jogging... no fast foods or things with starch, no bread or fried foods, keep dairy to a minimum.
