No human being has ever lived more than about 130 years (not including mythical figures such as Methuselah in The Bible) and although future medical advances may make it possible to live longer than that, I see no reason to believe that it will ever become possible for a person to never die. Everyone dies eventually. Just make good use of your time while you are still alive.
Answer:
Advances in medical science and technology are increasing our life span yearly. This includes the identification and treatment of disease and the understanding of the telomeres, molecular chains which align the DNA molecule during the replication process to allow the vital DNA molecule to be copied correctly and prevent any of the vital DNA sequences being lost. Ultimately this could extend our life so we are essentially immortal.
If bodily immortality is not essential, there is thought to allowing the personality and memories to be copied to other media and downloaded to artificial bodies or housed indefinitely in other devices. This is discussed in The Age of Spiritual Machinesa book by futurist Ray Kurzweil.
Additional answer:
All the technology that you present as a reason why it is indeed possible to never die remains speculative; it may or may not be made to work, and at the present time (February 25, 2010 as I type) we still have no solid reason to expect that anyone is going to live much beyond the age of 130. It is still true, as I said in my original answer, that the human lifespan may be extended by future medical advances. And possibly it will be even further extended by more exotic techniques such as downloading the human mind into computers. Even then it will not become possible to never die, although it may be possible to live for an extremely long time. After all, the universe itself is not expected to last forever. Eventually the stars will burn out. There is only a finite amount of usable energy in the universe. Now, you may at this point say that we cannot be sure what science will discover in the future, and perhaps there is some inexhaustible source of energy waiting to be discovered. Again, that is purely speculative. Nonetheless, in a theoretical sense, there is some possibility that for reasons not presently known, it will someday become possible to never die. I don't think it is a very strong possibility, but I can't rule it out. However, I do think that anyone now living who expects never to die is being ridiculously optimistic. We will eventually die. So enjoy your life while you can.
As of current scientific understanding, no known living organism has been proven to be immortal. While advancements in medical technology continue to extend human lifespan, death remains an inevitable part of life due to factors such as cellular aging and environmental stress.
you never really start to die until your time comes. Philosophically you start to die the day you are born. Physiologically, every day means your body is closer to death.
It is not possible to provide an exact number as it varies constantly. On average, approximately 27 people die worldwide every 10 seconds.
No, it is not possible to die from simply seeing an ugly person. Beauty is subjective and there is no scientific evidence to support the idea that looking at someone unattractive can cause death.
It is possible to die from extreme fear in rare cases, particularly if someone has a preexisting heart condition. In these situations, intense fear or stress can trigger a heart attack or other severe physical reactions that may be fatal.
The slowest way to die could involve a prolonged illness or condition that progresses over time, such as certain types of cancer or organ failure. In these cases, the body gradually weakens and deteriorates, leading to a slow decline in health and eventual death.
Hundreds of people die, and some of them have never ever had a sexual relationship, so yeah it's totally possible. ( =
His character is not dead. how ever it is possible to kill him in the video games.
It's not possible, but your pet CAN get sick. Your pet will never die or run away.
never heard such a case like that before
No. Nintendogs never die, regardless of the conditions. However, if you neglect them too much, they may run away in some versions of the game. It is possible to get them to come back.
Not that i know of... it is possible you fall asleep and never wake up, but i dont think that's from sleeping too much
yes. for example role a 6 sided die, will you get a 7? never. the experimental and theoretical probability is 0
NEVER, she will never die, or her voice
No its not possible you will die
It is possible but not likely to die from a swollen throat.
Depending on the breed, it is possible but unlikely. I have never heard of a case however. I would assume that it has the same likelihood of a human mother eating her baby; possible, but highly improbable.
die never say
