Yes.
You could alternate the style you ride in, or use a fusion of the two styles.
Of course you can teach a western horse to ride english.
I think it's when the horse rider can ride western and english.
I believe he rides both
Yes, a western bit can use English rein, I have seen girls at my barn ride like that.
Yes, the older they are, the harder it will be though!
Well it really depends on if you ride English or western and what discipline you do!
Probably Western because a lot more people ride western then english. Don't ask me why...
You can ride a horse MANY different ways. There is English, Western, Bare-back, Side saddle and many others.
It is not weird at all! Some people do that because they find it easier to balance in a western saddle but is more comfortable with the English bridle. Yea it totally works and if you enjoy riding like that way there is no one that can stop you so RIDE ON!
You post in English riding because English riding is a "cleaner" type of riding where Western it is more of a leisurely ride.
You need to have balance and a good position(especially if you're jumping) and also, English horses are faster and more forward then western horses.
saddle, saddle blanket, bit, bridle, halter . this is off the top of my head it depends how you ride for you saddle you can ride western or English!!!;) you can also ride with a Australian saddle.
