yeah just tell the program installer to put it on your flash drive and if you don't need the disk to run it your fine. i do this for school all the time!

As of my research so far, it's not possible. However, I have heard people say that if you download CloneCD, there is a partnering downloadable program that will make it possible to copy the game from your desktop and apply it to CloneCD. Though the partnering program costs money monthly, and does not have a free trial period. So so far, it's not possible. :(

Usually Sims 3 crashes so much because you might not have enough space on your computer so there is tons of stuff on your memory so it will get really slow and then it will start to crash. Try to delete some stuff that you don't need on your computer to get rid of the crashing.
