If you write directly on a computer, you have all the formatting and editing tools that come with a word processor right at your fingertips. Conversely, if you write on paper, then in order to edit, publish, or format your work, you'll have to enter it into the computer by hand. However, there are authors who still prefer to write by hand despite this inconvenience because of the natural feel of pen and paper.

If you are using your right hand, put your thumb on the left side of the mouse and your ring finger and little finger in the right. Lightly rest your index finger on the left mouse button and your middle finger on the right mouse button.

It may be possible to switch from using your left hand to your right, but it would most likely require time, practice, and patience. It could be challenging as your brain is already wired to favor one hand over the other, so consistency and effort would be important in making the switch successfully.
