Yes, it is perfectly safe to use hair spray on newly died hair! The chemicals in the hair spray will not effect your recently dyed hair.
i use coal tar shampoo, and it strips the colour out of my hair, but this is hair i have had dyed, not my natural hair colour.
You shouldn't ever use a baby shampoo on color-treated hair because it will start to strip the color. Anything that is gentle enough for a baby's eyes is not good for your dyed hair.

I read that with any shampoo it's recommended to actually shampoo your hair every 2-3 days. Weird! But true. Shampooing everyday strips your hair. Still shower everyday! :-) but you don�t necc have to shampoo everyday.

From my experience, no. Especially if you have really dry hair. Using shampoo every other day is okay. If you have recently bleached your hair, it's best not to shampoo for a few days too, because your hair will be very dry.
