Yes. A woman does not need her husband's permission to seek counseling. Her pastor is in the position of a doctor or priest or other professional and all are obligated to keep the sessions confidential. Consider this, if a woman was being abused and she needed the permission of the abuser to seek help, she would never receive help. Also, more women seek counseling than men.
If a husband is opposed to his wife seeking counseling from her pastor then he should agree to seek the help of a professional marriage counselor with his wife.
