Is it safe for gerbils to eat pizza?

it is not safe to feed gerbils any bread,(any kind)thus this will cause their tiny intestines to inflate.they will stop eating and die.

As gerbils are omnivores, they can eat most things, they can eat bread, just not too much. If you have to feed it bread, feed it wholmeal. Watered bread, mushed up dried food, and mushed up fruit (as instructed by the vet) saved my gerbils life when it pulled out its teeth. It has done so 4 times since and hasn't yet died. But don't ever feed it too much so be sparing with it (perhaps only once a month or so, give it 1cm2 for example).

no! they will get kidney stone and it's insanely expensive to get it removed!!! they might die in surgery anyway.

It should be ok, but in very small amounts, and not often, because it is very fattening, and most gerbils are lactose intolerant. If in doubt,don't feeit.

Gerbil or hamster muesli is a gerbils main food. But that does not mean It can't have the occasional treat. Gerbils can eat Rotastak foods which you can get in Asda. Around one a week you can give your gerbil a bit of apple, carrot, parsnip, lentils, lettuce or a tiny piece of dried up beetroot that you can get in bistro salads.
