Yes, I myself think to do so is great! Ending some processes that are unnecessary will free your computer of programs using up memory and processing. Usually items in the task manager under "SYSTEM" are a MUST have for the computer to function. If you accidentally end something you aren't supposed to the computer will most likely shut down and you will have to reboot. Most things that your computer needs won't even let you end. I like to familiarize myself with most processes so when there is something that I don't recognize, boom, its gone. Hope this helps.

But, if the performance does not improve, you can assume that the problem is with a hardware device, a critical driver, or a Windows component.

For running under Safe mode: 1.Restart your computer 2.Start tapping the F8 key so the Windows Advanced Options Menu appears 3.Select 'Safe Mode' and press Enter

This program showed up on my computer without my knowledge or permission. I am outraged that a program just showed up and started to "scan" my computer. I have no idea how they got on my computer but i immediately uninstalled the program and stopped their scanning. They may or not be safe but I am outraged that thiis program got onto my computer without my permission. I have checked my security programs to ensure that this does not happen again.
