Yes, I myself think to do so is great! Ending some processes that are unnecessary will free your computer of programs using up memory and processing. Usually items in the task manager under "SYSTEM" are a MUST have for the computer to function. If you accidentally end something you aren't supposed to the computer will most likely shut down and you will have to reboot. Most things that your computer needs won't even let you end.
