no, the bear will atack you most of the time.....
You are not going to be attacked by a black bear unless you provoke it, startle it or mess with its cubs. We have enjoyed black bear visits for 30 years. They have been a little trouble, ie. eating everything in the bird feeders, they will devour any apples left outside, bushels! They need to eat too. Feed them away from your home and they will be wonderful animals to watch and/or study. My sister recently left out her bedding on the clothe line and the bear got tangled up in it while going after the bird feeders on the same pole. She now brings in the bird feeders and laundry.
You should NOT feed wild animals.

Most national parks have black bears. Do not feed them, however. They are still wild and dangerous animals.

Bears do not typically eat humans, but they may attack if they feel threatened or if they are defending their territory or cubs. To stay safe in bear country, people should make noise while hiking to avoid surprising a bear, carry bear spray as a deterrent, store food properly, and never approach or feed a bear.
It depends on what type of bird it is. With any wild bird, do not feed it foods that it would not encounter in the wild. It is safe to buy commercial food mixes that are labeled "Wild Bird Food". Don't feed wild birds food that would be normally eaten by a pet bird.
