Yes, but you should treat it to prevent mites, ticks, and/or illnesses in your snake. I usually soak wood and branches in a 1 part bleach 3 parts water solution over night, but the chlorine in the bleach is just as harmful to your snake. You'll need to rinse the item thoroughly and soak it again for another 30 minutes or so in regular water with a water dechlorinator added. There's other ways but this works for me, the same dechlorinator you use to for their water works fine. Hope this helps.
