Yes, you can take an eastern painted turtle out of its tank, but it's important to do so carefully and for brief periods. Handle the turtle gently, supporting its body to avoid stress or injury. Ensure that you keep it in a safe, suitable environment, as turtles can easily become stressed or dehydrated outside of their habitat. Always wash your hands before and after handling to prevent the spread of bacteria.

Yes, Yes, Yes!!!! No matter what kind of Turtle u have the best thing u could buy is one of those plastic baby pools and let it play in that! If you have an Aquatic turtle put a few inches of cool water (depending on the size of the turtle) and a big rock for it to bask in the sun, or if you have a land turtle put a few inches of sand in it and a dish for fresh water and let them play for no more than a couple hours. But during play time u have to keep a very close eye on them and keep away Predators, or make sure they don't climb out!! But in the end your turlte will love u for letting it play in the air and sun!
No, the turtle can injure the cat (think biting through small bones). The cat can kill the turtle. Turtles also can carry salmonella. You can have both as pets, but you will have to keep them separated.
