∙ 14y agoFor a conventional fireplace this would probably be a really bad idea; but if it is one of those modern heat control firepaces in which you have the heat vented away from the TV this might work.

∙ 14y agoIt can be dangerous, or even illegal to mount a TV over a wood-burning fireplace. when with your local fire department, and if they say it's okay then you should be fine.
