A story as in a fictional story you wrote for fun or out of love of writing? There are so many websites you could post your story on, see if people like it like Wattpad, booksie, and Deviantart. Or you could just google some thing like "post story online." If you're looking into publishing it as a book, I would post it on one of those websites then, depending on the results, look into publishing companies. Of course, I'm not a pro at this do you may want someonelse's advice.
