Facebook is fairly safe, as long as you keep most to yourself. People will still be able to look you up if they hack, but well, you have done your best and limit as much information as possible from prying eyes. Facebook is actually a pretty safe website if you don't accept friend requests from people you don't know and you put your account in private. Remember, the people you add probably know most of the trivial details about you (ie. Email, birthday, family) so you shouldn't put too much up to risk it. All personal information is valuable to advertising companies, and they pay to collect them, even through hacking. So if you limit the personal information you have there, it should be safe from non-hackers.
well, if you don't know the person at all, just to be safe, don't accept their friend request. If you think you know the person, make sure that their account is real. If you get a friend request from someone you know, you should ask them if they have facebook, or confirm it is them. Also, if you don't know its a predator, dont put any personal information on Facebook anyways.
you go to www.facebook.com then if you dont have on it will give you all the registration stuff in the center of the screen... just put you information in there and walaa!!
wiki.answers wants all the personal information you've put on Facebook. Don't have Facebook? Good for you because any site that requires FB in order to join is a lame A$$ website!
I think that Facebook and MSN are the same but Facebook has millions of people who has joined to so ... it would be much more funner on Facebook. Also, on Facebook you can put a lot more of information about yourself that everyone can see so it is dangerous if you don't pay very good attention to what you put on your wall and who sees it.
