You can either use a round bristle brush and a good blow dryer to smooth out hair, or you can use a good flat iron. I use a professional Karmin G3 salon pro styling iron and it gets my hair amazingly straight and shiny. But if you use heat then remember to use a heat protectant to keep your hair safe. :)
