No. There are tons of mentally ill people that go to church regularly and obsess on religious matters... i.e. demon possession, hearing the voice of God. Recently a woman, regular and active church member, cut the arms and legs off her child because she thought she needed to make God a sacrifice. She went to a church and seemed okay to a lot of people, but she had a lot of mental problems. I don't think it was her church's fault either, her mental condition would've caused her to be violent even without religion.
People come out of their mental illness , with drugs as well as councelling.
No there is not a illness for helping people.
People with mental illness
When myth or superstition is used by common people to diagnose or treat people with mental illness, this is called myth by mental health professionals.
No.
People who have expirienced alot of emotional stress. or have a family history of mental illness. But everyone is
it depend what mental illness you have and how mental you are.
Yes , plenty. Providing that you are mentally and emotionally stable a person with a mental illness can have any job they want.
In the past mental illness was not viewed as an illness but, simply that something was wrong with the individuals that were not like everyone else. In today's society, mental illness is treated in a variety of ways, and is viewed as a true disorder.
People sometimes confuse mental illness with malingering, a lack of willpower, and hypochondria. They may think that mental illness is weakness or something you can just "snap out of." Some fail to see mental illness as real. They may confuse mental illness with criminal behavior. People may think all mental illnesses can be fixed with medicine or that the medicines for mental illness have less side-effects than they do. To add to the misunderstandings, there are slasher films with deranged persons, and the news media often makes a point to mention that some spree killer was under treatment for mental illness. So the public only sees the most sensational of those with mental illness. They often don't hear about the success stories, so this feeds into the misunderstandings.
