I've been taking methyphenidate for years now to control my adhd with tremendous success. But my Dr. recently put me on wellbutrin to help me quit smoking. Huge mistake! I've never known paranoia, depression or fear, actually terror, that accompanied the combination of those two drugs. It lasted for about 6 hours, but that's one 6 hour period I'd never want to experience again, or wish upon my worst enemy. Apparently this is common amongst 7% of people who combine the 2 drugs. Well it would have been nice if my Dr had given me a heads-up. Yes there was the info pack that came with the meds that did in fact mention this, but who ever expects those warnings to actually happen to you? Well, learned my lesson. Pay heed to those potential side affects warnings!
