If it's in front of the soft part of your ear it could just be cartilage. If it's behind the ear lobe or just behind the ear it could be a bone spur or a little fatty cyst (non cancerous) but ALL lumps should be checked out by your doctor. Cysts that are non cancerous can grow and cause some nerve damage. It's unlikely this would happen in the ear area. If you start feeling sharp pains in a month or two it's probably a harmelss form of bone tumor.Harmless if you're a child,because this kind of tumor can become a threat if you're an adult.I should warn you(I don't want to scare you) if it becomes cancerous(0.0001% chance :) )it will spread to your neck and spine.
