You can buy a rabbit any month of the year; after all, rabbits have a normal lifespan of 8-12 years, so wherever you keep it should be safe year round.

The first thing I would do is check to see if your bunny has access to fresh water. Animals will not eat if they do not have water, because without water they cannot digest food. If this is not the case, then make sure your bunny is not overheated or too cold. (over 78 degrees is too hot for rabbits!) If that is not the case either then your bunny may be sick and you should probably schedule a vet appointment.
