One True Voice
one true voice :')
In 2002 Cheryl Cole entered a competition called 'Popstars: The Rivals'In the final weeks of the competition five females were picked to be put into a girlband and five males were picked to be put into a boyband. Cheryl Cole was one of the five girls to be put into the girlband called 'Girls Aloud' 'Girls Aloud' then beat the boyband 'One True Voice' to the christmas number one. 'Girls Aloud's' career then continued. Then, in 2009 her debut album as a solo-artist was released.
No, though Cheryl Cole is now a judge on x-factor she was never a contestant on that particular show. However her rise to fame did start on a similar show called "Popstars: The Rivals" where she and the other winning girls were put together in a band called "Girls Aloud". The show created two rival groups the girls group "Girls Aloud" and the boy group "One True Voice" which were then made to compete. Though the boy group won the competition girls aloud were actually the band that had commercial success.
Various people and groups have become famous after appearing on that programme. They include the Cheeky Girls. In additional Girls Aloud and One True Voice were formed on it.
Cheryl didn't "enter" Girls Aloud. The group was formed through a competition similar to the X Factor nowadays but you also had to be able to dance. It was an ITV1 show called Popstars:The Rivals. The aim of the show was to create 2 bands; 1 girls, 1 boys. They would then go head to head to get the Christmas number 1. Girls Aloud won and the other band, the boys; One True Voice diminished into nothing. If you are talking about the order in which they were put into the band, then Cheryl was first to be called to be in the band.
They didn't beat anyone as such. The viewers voted for who they wanted to be in two bands - a girlband and a boyband. Girls Aloud have been more successful than One True Voice who split up after releasing two singles.
Girls Aloud started in 2002 where the boy group and girl group would battle it out for the Christmas number 1 and girls aloud got there number 1 by singing sound of the underground . They had beaten the boy band one true voice
