Yes if they r the vice president and the president is removed from office for any reason he becomes the president if he serves 2 years or less he is able to serve for 2 terms as president but if he serves more than 2 years even one day he is only allowed to serve for one term
Executive=President Presidents serve for 4 years, with possibility of one-time reelection. His cabinet goes with him after he leaves office (They too, serve 4 years, unless he kicks them out).
None. President Obama was too young to serve in any previous major wars.
The 22nd Amendment states that no president will be elected to more than 2 terms or 10 years. Under traditional circumstances the president will be elected to a four year term, then will be re-elected to a second four year term. After serving the eight years, that president may not run again. The ten year clause exists in case a president were to be assassinated. If the president were to be killed, the vice president would then become president. If the (assassinated) president were to serve two years before being assassinated, the vice president would serve the remaining two years, and may run for two more terms (8 years), which would total ten. No one may serve more than ten years. This amendment was passed because many people feared that a president may gain too much power and never leave office.
President Obama was too young to serve the last time the draft was in effect.
The original reason was to keep the president from accumilating too much power. The founding fathers did not want the president to have the power of a king. i thimk it should be because some people think that if they are presidents for a long time they will rule the world.
if they don't have a limit then they have too much power
75 years old
True and False. He was the first president of the US under the Constitution that was ratified in 1789. The US existed before that time under the Articles of Confederation, and there was a president, too. So...
It's too early to tell. President Obama was re-elected in November 2012, but we have no way of predicting who might run for the presidency in 2016-- Mr. Obama will not be allowed to run (he will have served two terms, which is all a US president can serve). But there is no way of knowing in 2012 who the candidates will be in four years.
True Because without plants we be dead and animals too.
No president really served a full term without a vice-president. Pierce came close since his vice-president died after a month in office and never made it to Washington because he was too sick to travel.
If the vice-president is too sick to serve, there is a procedure to replace him. Otherwise, he would become President if Obama dies.
