It is true. if you got a group of lets say 100 people together and asked for their opinion on something not everyone opinion would be the same because someones opinion depends on the different things they have gone through or are going through in life. So if you have facts rather then opinions in a persuasive writing then you would have a better chance of persuading someone.

A persuasive essay is a paper made up of facts based on the writer's beliefs. When writing a persuasive essay you pick a topic and decide if you agree with the topic or if you disagree. When writing a persuasive essay you should pick a side and stick to that side. You then write a paper based on facts, explaining why you chose this side and why you felt like it was the right decision. Then you attempt to persuade your audience to agree with you using the facts you found to support your topic. It can be very hard to persuade an audience to agree with you on a topic so having as many facts as possible to support your theory will help. A biased essay is the writers opinion. Is subjective writing bad when writing a persuasive article?

In my opinion, yes. The readers may feel like it is more of a story than truth if you write a persuasive article in this manner. Subjective writing is more for writing fiction, poems, and stories. A person would need to be more objective when writing a persuasive article. They need to stick to the facts and use phrases like, "In my opinion", "The fact is", "I disagree", and others. A persuasive essay is one that is in your opinion. It needs to be strong and full of your side. Remember, you are persuading an audience to believe or choose one side over the other.
