I believe that if you love the lord your god with all your heart and soul that he'll communicate with anybody from murderer to the pope. God loves me and you. Well about the pope you'll never know what if he's not as "holy" as everybody thinks. But if he is just like anybody who loves the lord with all his heart and soul well then yes god can answer your prayers if their necessary, obviously.
If you are referring to Pope Benedict IX, only God can answer that question. However, as a pope, he was a disgrace to the Chair of St. Peter and may very well be in hell.
The pope worships only the one true God despite what some Pentecostal and Protestant ministers may say.

Martin Luther criticized the pope and the Catholic Church's authority in his 95 Theses and subsequent writings. He viewed the pope as having corrupted the true teachings of Christianity and believed that salvation came through faith alone, not through the church's sacraments or the pope's authority. Luther's stance contributed significantly to the Protestant Reformation, challenging the central role of the pope in Christian life and governance.

We have a pope, Pope Francis, who happens to be a Jesuit. However, there is no Jesuit Pope. Some public media sources often refer to the Superior General of the Jesuits as the "Black Pope" in reference to the black worn by priests of the order and the power that has been wielded by the Jesuits in the past. However, the Catholic Church has only one true Pope who wears white and that is currently (2015) Pope Francis.
It is not just simply wanting to be pope. the pope is the vicar of Christ. He is chosen by God to govern the true Catholic Church.

A:Leo V was pope for only a very short period before he was assassinated by a successor as pope. The conflicting stories of his murder have given Pope Leo V more fame than he otherwise would have had.Leo was either murdered a few weeks after his election, by his successor, Pope Christopher, or the following year by Pope Sergius III, who also murdered Christopher. There should only be one pope at any one time, and Christopher was considered a true pope until the twentieth century, but is now considered an anti-pope, which means that he is now considered not to have been properly elected because Leo was still in prison but alive.
Martin Luther strongly opposed the authority of the pope, viewing it as an unbiblical institution that undermined the true teachings of Christianity. He believed that salvation came through faith alone and not through the intercession of the pope or the Church. Luther argued that individuals should have direct access to God and the Scriptures, rejecting the pope's claims to spiritual supremacy. His critiques were central to the Protestant Reformation, which sought to reform the Church's practices and diminish papal power.
