Drinking age is governed by state law. The minimum age to purchase alcohol is 21 in all 50 states.
However, a number of states, including Oregon, have exceptions that allow people who are under 21 but over 18 to drink in private places, such as in the home, with parental permission.
The laws vary from place to place. In a few states, children are allowed to have alcohol under the supervision of their parents, not any other adult. There are still age limits in effect and the exceptions are very limited. Any adults giving alcohol to a minor can go to jail and or have a fine. And the 'adult' supervision can get arrested as well - and charged with various things including 'contributing to the delinquency of a minor,' 'providing alcohol to a minor,' etc.
Yes it is true, but only under adult supervision. It can be very risky at times because when teenagers between 13 and 18 drink, they could get drunk they will start to vandalise objects such as cars, houses, windows, bars and much more. They could get eventually arrested at time and could choke up on their own sick which can cause them to die quite frankly.
They provide jobs by the teens need adult supervision, and also to create the building 'they' need construction workers to build it.
There are many fun and safe things that teens can do after prom. Arrange for a rented limo or van to take the teens to a late night diner where they can get a meal after prom, or host a slumber party (with appropriate adult supervision!).
Teens drink because of pressure they get from freinds and family
no teens shouldn't drink alcohol because it can lead to miss behavior and agresion
in my personal opinion, 100%. but there are defiantly more teens that drink alcohol that those who don't.
