No. The official position of the Catholic Church is that some people will be saved and live eternally with God in Heaven. But not everyone will be saved; some will be eternally lost. Of the ones who are saved and live eternally with God in Heaven, their salvation will have been won by the life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. However, some of the people whom God will save by Christ's sacrifice, will not necessarily have heard the Gospel preached during their lifetimes, or will have been taught all their lives to believe in some other religion opposed to the Gospel. This class of persons includes, for example, infants, especially unborn infants, who die without baptism, and persons living in remote regions of the Earth who have never enountered a metal knife blade, a camera, or a pair of binoculars, much less the Gospel. Nevertheless, it is within the power of the God of mercies even at the moment of their deaths, to make them acquainted with what Jesus Christ did for them, to extend to them the invitation to accept the gift of salvation, to receive their response, and to welcome them into Heaven. For time means nothing to God; with God, an instant can be as a thousand years, and a thousand years as an instant. For those of us who know and serve the Lord all our lives - to know and serve Him here on Earth is itself a privilege and a blessing, and to look forward to being with Him for all eternity is a blessing, too. And for those who enter into His kingdom without having ever had the opportunity to know Him here on Earth - to be with Him throughout all eternity is also for them a privilege and a blessing. Jonab answer: The Catholic church certainly have the answer for all those people who lived before and after Christ time and who had never heard of Christ during their life time. It is ridiculous to think that all those people would perish in hell. And secondly if anyone ever enters heaven it would be because "their salvation will have been won by the life, death, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ." For there is no other way by which any person can enter heaven. The fact is many people died without the knowledge of Christ. Could it be that even after death the knowledge of Christ wouls be revealed to them....

Is a Catholic who does not believe in all beliefs of the Roman Catholic church still a Catholic?

The Catholic Religion teaches that once a Catholic always a Catholic whether practicing or not!Roman Catholic AnswerA Catholic who does not believe in all the beliefs of the Roman Catholic Church is traditionally known as heresy, so the proper term for a Catholic who refuses to believe in all the truths taught by the Church that Our Blessed Lord established is a heretic. The modern term for this is "cafeteria Catholic", but the meaning is the same. A Catholic who refuses to be known as a Christian because they do not believe all the things that the Catholic Church teaches is known as an apostate. Our Blessed Lord did not tell us that following Him was going to be easy, or pleasant, but He told us that He would pray to for us to have the strength to do what we are not normally inclined to do.

What is the Roman Catholic official stance on baptizing infants born out of wedlock?

.Catholic AnswerRoman is an epithet first commonly used in England after the protestant revolt to describe the Catholic Church. It is rarely used by the Catholic Church. .The official stance of the Church on infants is that they are too young to get married, so they are always baptized out of wedlock. Their parents marital status has nothing to do with whether or not the infant can be baptized, only the assurance that they are going to be raised as Christians in the Catholic Church.

It is never used by the official Catholic Church. There are literally hundreds of major Catholic relief agencies around the world offering help to the common man. Priests, nuns and lay people are encouraged by the Church to perform acts of charity whether at home or on a mission.
