I don't see much reason for exercising to reduce the effects of smoking. Smoking is bad for your lungs and it will mean that your exercise capability and fitness will decrease.

Actually it does because your lungs also go into puberty so it damages it so when your older you wont breath as good, so I suggest you smoke after your 20.
