Usually, a person with transsexualism believes they are the gender that is completely opposite their body. They never try to be both as many erroneously assume, and they are actually gender conformists, not "gender variant" as the transgender community often claims. Unlike many in the transgender community, actual transsexuals need to fit fully into one lifestyle and body image or the other, and conformity is why they get surgeries to the face, breasts, and genitals.
