Outside the Church, there is no salvation. This means that everyone who gets to heaven does so through the Catholic Church. However, if someone is innocently ignorant of Christ and His Church, it is possible that they can get to heaven if they strive to follow God and cooperate with whatever grace they have. This is possible because if they are innocently ignorant, they have not rejected the Church and it is possible that they are not really "outside" of it, even if they don't know it. However, if someone knowingly rejects the Catholic Church, they could not be saved.
Traditionally celebrated August 15, the Assumption of Mary is the day when Catholics celebrate Mary's assumption into Heaven. She did not die and get buried; she was assumed into Heaven.
Catholics believe in the hope of God's mercy that babies who die without baptism will be with God in heaven. Catholics believe that the true church of Christ is the Catholic Church, it also believes that elements of the true church subsist in other churches and believes in the hope that all are saved regardless of faith or baptism if they live a life of goodness in accordance with their beliefs and do not reject God or deliberately turn away from God.

Anybody who dies and goes to heaven will "see" God as that is what heaven is - being with God. One will "see" Our Blessed Lord, Jesus Christ, with your eyes, as He has a human body, and will for eternity. You will "see" the Father and the Holy Spirit only with your mind (what is called spiritual vision) as They do not have bodies and are entirely spiritual.
You can only die on earth, and neither in heaven nor hell, because in hell, you have to endure eternal fire, while in heaven, eternal life.
The catholics believe in the assumption of Mary because they believe she is with out sin. Therefore she would be taken to heaven and she would not have to die.

Only God knows where a person goes when they die.
Buddhists believe that until you are fully enlightened, you reincarnate into another life form in the material world. Catholics believe that after you die, you either go to heaven, hell, or purgatory.
The Christians accept on faith that all the stuff they are told is true. So there is no postcard from heaven to assure the relatives how things went.
