No, printers are usually not worth it to fix. I would recommend recycling it.

How does one install a Canon printer cartridge?

Protect your desk, printer stand or work surface by placing an old newspaper in front of or next to the printer. The newspaper will provide you with a place to work without getting ink anywhere you don't want it. It seems as though no matter how careful or neat you are, a little bit of ink always manages to escape when replacing an ink cartridge. Prepare the new ink cartridge for installation. Remove the replacement cartridge for your Canon printer from all of its packaging. You may need scissors to remove the heavy wrapper. Leave the protective orange cap or tape in place for now. Set the new cartridge aside on the newspaper. Remove the old ink cartridge from the Canon printer. With the printer on, open the front door or panel of the printer. Wait a second or two and the ink cartridge holder should move to the opening where it is accessible. If it does not move, shut the door, turn the printer off for a moment, turn it back on and try again. Lift the small lever that secures the ink cartridges within their holder. On most Canon printers, it is colored green and located on the right side of the ink cartridge holder. Gently lift the old ink cartridge out of the printer. Place the new ink cartridge in the printer. Remove the plastic cap or tape protecting the ink cartridge, being careful not to touch the black and gold "sensor" area of the cartridge. Gently but firmly push the new cartridge into the empty slot left where you removed the old ink cartridge. The label should be facing outward. You should feel the cartridge pop into place. Then push the lever back down that you lifted in Step 3. Close the printer door. Use paper towel or wet wipes to clean any ink from your hands.

How do you change the ink on a Dell computer?

The first step (which the instructions on the machine don't tell you) is make sure the printer is switched on, otherwise you can't do this. Open the printer by lifting up the top of the machine from the front (above the print output tray), As you do this, the ink cartridges move into the centre where you can get at them. If the printer isn't switched on, they remain invisible and inaccessible. Open the cartridge holder by pulling the front edge gently towards you. It'll pop open and you can get the old cartridge out. Remove the tape from the new cartridge and insert: black ink on the left, colour on the right. Close the cartridge holder. Close lid, and you're ready to print.

Is dell a940 ink compatible with lexmark x75 printer?

No. The cartridges for the Dell printer are much larger than the Lexmark printer. The Lexmark equivalent for those Dell cartridges would be the Lexmark 82 and 83 but I am unsure if the electronics for those two are compatible. The Lexmark x75 cartridges are fully compatible with the Dell equivalent, the T0529 and T0530. The only differences in these are which lid gets slapped onto the cartridges. The shape on top will be slightly different making it so that they won't fit in correctly but this can easily be gotten around by simply snapping off the small plastic tab in the printer. Be very certain that you are breaking the correct piece off if you attempt to change the printer as you can break the cartridge holder if you snap off the wrong piece. If you look at the cartridge you will see a raised part on the lid with either a corner missing or a section in the center that is flat, this is where the piece that would prevent a Lexmark cart fitting into a Dell printer would be located. This small plastic piece can be removed with no effect on how the cartridge fits in the printer for printing.

Are 'fuse box fuses' the same as 'plug fuses'?

No, fuse box fuses are of the screw in type. Plug in fuses are of a cartridge style that plug into the fuse holder which supports the fuse on either end of the cartridge.

How might one clean a clogged Canon printer head?

A clogged Canon printer can be cleaned by first removing the ink cartridges and the holder for them and proceed by carefully cleaning the head with a moistured paper towel.

How many times an inkjet cartridge can be refilled?

The Canon printer ink will last for as long as one will own it: that will of course depend on how often one prints using the ink. But if one doesn't use all of the ink it will dry out in several years.

How do you change the ink cartridges in HP deskjet f4280?

You lift up the front. If you only lift enough to see the glass of the scanner, you reach in a little furthur and lift that up.Basically sticking your fingers into the corner of the control panel and the top of the printer.Once you do, you pull the tabs on the ink and it flips open to reveal the ink.A:With power off, remove the cartridges, move cartridge holder to middle of print area, and then look inside the cartridge loading area at the bottom of the printer. There should be a cotton pad that catches the excess ink when the cartridge is cleaned. I've found on numerous occassions that this pad will sometimes get caught up in the mechanism and bunch up. Once it gets bunched up, it will not allow that back area to drop down to install the cartridges. You'll get ink all over your hands, but you should be able to move the internal mechanism directly below the cartridge loading area towards the back of the printer and then try and untangle the cotton pad and flatten it back out into the proper position. if you can get this done, reapply power and see if the problem is corrected.
