Economic poverty is too far ranging a issue to be solved by education alone. We have tried over and over to use a single prong attack on many different issues. This leads to an incomplete resolution, at best. At worst it leads to a class of poverty that is aware of it's problems, but unable to do anything about them.
whyis the k to 12 program better thatn the current program?

The Revised Basic Education (RBE) program and the K to 12 program both aim to enhance the quality of education by providing a more comprehensive curriculum. However, the RBE program focuses on improving the basic education curriculum by incorporating new subjects and teaching methodologies, while the K to 12 program extends the basic education cycle to include two additional years for senior high school. Both programs seek to address the gaps in the education system and better prepare students for higher education or employment.
The dis-advantages of K +12 program is that students will only rely on the high school year and would not anymore take college because when the K +12 program was proposed by the Aquino administration, they said that works and jobs are also available for high school graduates...... But those who only graduated only on high school degree will not be known as professionals if they will soon go work abroad..... Other dis-advantages of having K+12 is that the schools will need help from the government in terms of financial support to build more class rooms for the K+12 program and they will also need more supplies like chairs, books, and many more.....
Some teachers have a k-6 license. Some have a 7-12 license. Some have a k-12 license. It depends on their major and minor. It also depends on the college program where they went.
