Can Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix play on an American PlayStation 2?
No. Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix+ will only play on a Japanese PS2. It is not comparible with an American PS2 or PS3. The game has region protection which means, you can only play it on a system from a specific region. All American games say NTSC US\C. Not all games have region protection, so an American game might work on a Japanese console, and Vice-Versa. However, Since Kingdom Hearts II Final-Mix+ has a label marked NTSC J, and has region protection, it will only work on a Japanese console.
