Koi fish is suitable as a feeder fish for other larger fish. If a human wanted to eat a Koi fish, (which in general unlikely), it would be better eaten dead.
Yes they will. If you are fishing for pike, it is much better to use live or dead fish as bait.
scavenging is an example of an eater-eaten relationship because animals who feed on the dead animals may be eaten by other live animals when they are dead....For Example; Vultures feed on dead animals but when the vulture is dead another live animal will feed on it and when that live animal becomes dead another animal will feed on its dead body and so on...
It depends on the fish. Most fish will prefer a live bait over a dead one so even if you use live bait if there is no wiggle left in it best to change it.
if you can live with the smell
depends ocean fish live up to maybe 2 years if not eaten my house fish lis still living and it is almost 3 years old
Most species eat other dead fish. My platys, blue gouramis, and glofish all try to eat dead fish or at least peck at them. Lionfish eat smaller live or dead fish, I know for sure.
Shrimp will eat dead fish for certain. As for live fish, if the shrimp is large enough and the fish is small enough, then shrimp will eat live fish too.
The only fish species that i know of that lives out of water is the dead kind.
3 Fish. 2 live and one dead. 3 one dead and 2 alive wtf
Yes. If the fish is much larger than the turtle, it is possible the the turtle will leave it alone, but things like feeder goldfish will be eaten rather quickly. If you are looking to put fish in the tank as pets, do not, as they will most likely be eaten. If you are looking for fish to specifically feed to the turtle, ask your local pet store what fish to purchase to give them the best nutrients needed.
Dead Sea.
Dead fish. Crabs tend to be detritus eaters, so if it's a chunk of something organic, they will try to eat it. As for a living fish, if the crab can catch the fish, the crab will try to eat the fish.
