No. - Koko's kitten 'All Ball' ran out of the cage and across a road, and was killed by a car when he was less than a year old. Koko was very sad and this was the first time people realised that animals can have human-like emotions.
KoKo
Although not unique, Koko is one of the few non-humans known to keep pets. She has cared for several cats over the years and Koko's relationship with All Ball was featured in the 1987 book Koko's Kitten (Scholastic Press, ISBN 0-590-44425-5), which was written by Francine (Penny) Patterson.Other gorillas known to have cared for pets include Toto. So, yes, it is a factual story.
Koko is a gorilla who is able to understand more than 1000 signs based on American sign language. She cannot speak but she understands over 2000 spoken English words.Answered by: Brianna Wallot
No he is very much alive
Yes but she will refuse to believe it and still treat the kitten as if it were alive.
Yes! Koko the Gorilla is alive and well (age 46 in 2017). She lives in Woodside, California. --- Koko, a female gorilla trained to use sign language, is alive as of 2017. She was born July 4, 1971.
Yes, Lipstick.
She had two. If you mean the grey tabby, he was All Ball. (Others just called him Ball.) After Ball passed away, Koko got another kitten. This one was orange, so she named her "Lips-Lipstick".
As far as we know in early August 2013, she is still very much alive, and celebrated her 42nd birthday in July. Research about her use of language (she is one of the gorillas who was taught to communicate by using sign language) is continuing. I enclose a link to the website where you can follow her progress.

Get that kitten to a vet! I can't believe a person would leave a kitten suffer this long no matter how old you are. If you don't have money then Animals Shelters will help out and most vets will allow you to work off the bill by cleaning cages. GET THE KITTEN TO THE VETS (if it's still alive). This kitten is bleeding internally and in great pain!
