I guess true church goers can say yes to that but I think the violence has to do with the media (movies, Video Games, etc). Prayer without faith belief and sincerity does nothing at all so the problem would more likely be the deficit in those areas of individual's lives. Since individuals collectively make up a society the problem spreads and compounds to touch all areas of life where violence is a problem . Lack of prayer in schools stems from an existing rejection of God thus our accountability to Him. The media violence as mentioned by the above post is the fruit of a society that selfishly asserts that individual rights to see and do as we please affect no-one else. Changes in individuals hearts and lives so we can see why that attitude does not work in the end would result in prayers with real power rather than merely being 'vain repetitions'.
The foundation of violence is inequality, lack of job opportunities and intimidation.
Absolutely not. Violence is never better than romance; if you are with a partner who is violent towards you, then you need to get out. Violence does not show love or affection; it shows disrespect and lack of concern for you. Lack of romance doesn't have to be a dealbreaker, but violence does.

Youth violence in the US today can be attributed to various factors such as exposure to violence in media, lack of positive role models, substance abuse, poverty, and inadequate access to mental health services. Additionally, issues related to peer pressure, bullying, and a lack of conflict resolution skills can also contribute to youth violence.
There are new experiments taking place in research every day. Some examples of experimental research titles that could be used on topics effecting the people of today include "Are schools that allow prayer stronger than schools that don't?", "Is television or video games leading to more school violence?", or "Does lack of nutrition play a role in the crimes committed?".
Violence can start due to a variety of complex factors such as unresolved conflicts, power struggles, inequality, or a lack of effective communication. It can also be influenced by individual beliefs, past experiences, and societal norms. Preventing violence often involves addressing these root causes and promoting nonviolent ways to resolve conflicts.
