Is learning the cello easier if you know the piano?
Absolutely! It's only easier because if you know the piano, you have an understanding of how reading music works and your left fingers are stronger (The left fingers do the fingering). The cello is an awesome instrument that will be a lot easier if you know the piano.
If you already know how to read sheet music and have a firm idea on how to play it on say piano. then it's a lot easier. however i imagine it'll still be a challenge.
I'll let you know as soon as I find it myself.... but, as for now, you may want to just have the cello play the bottom row of the Piano part.
I would guess many musicians play piano. It is very useful to know when learning about music.
For a newbie wanting to expand their hobbies, learning to play the piano can be a good choice to make. To get started they need to purchase a piano lessons book and one of the greatest books about this subject is the, "How to Play Piano: Everything you need to Know to play the Piano" book.
Some of the instruments used are guitar, violin, basson, oboe, cello, and piano.
You know what, it depends on you. I've played the piano for eleven years. And when I was in 5th Grade we got to choose an instrument and I chose the Cello. I've now played the cello for about seven years. But I also had additional ones, like the Piano, Flute, Clarinet, French Horn, Viola & Harp. So if you actually play the Piano it helps through about every instrument especially the Harp. That's my… Read More

You can definitely learn how to play cello if you know the violin. Brendon Boyd Urie plays nine instruments, though I only know of four. Piano. Guitar, Cello, and Mandolin. Hope this helped!
Eh, not really, but it helps. If not guitar, you should learn piano. I know both, so I'm good ;) Piano is a better help to a singer though, its also easier to write songs off of.
Can a cello be substituted for a 1 4 size double bass for teaching learning purposes for a 7 year old?
If you're gonna be teaching and you don't know that...you shouldn't be teaching
As we all know that the technology is vast, we can learn more. Learning using technology is fun, easy, interesting. It does not involve reading and mugging.
Beethoven had 32 piano sonatas. The first thing to do is obtain the sheet music. Then, if you know how to read music, just work at it. If you do not, I would recommend getting piano lessons and learning how before attempting to play pieces at that level.
No, she can not play the cello.
>well i seem to think it would be the keyboard. < I disagree entirely! In order for a new student to know the heft of the keys, for them to understand tone, and to have the chance at becoming a musician, rather than someone who noodles about on a keyboard, the child must have a piano. Once a child knows how to play the piano, then playing any other instrument will be a lot easier… Read More
Well I play the violin, viola, cello and I know that cello is definitely bigger!

What instruments were used in the American idiot musical I know guitar bass drums vocals and piano were but I don't know the others?
According to IBDB, this is the instrumentation: Keyboard/Accordion Drums/Percussion Guitar 1 Guitar 2 Bass Violin Viola Cello
2 black keys at the end of the piano with the first key on the three black keys. thats just the first part of the intro. (I know the real notes but just to make it easier)
i m learning it right now and it seems like ages but if u just spend an hour or more practising it on piano, you will soon be able to play the whole piece in 2-5 months... (i think...) i have been learning it for 2 months and i know 2/3 of it!
I know that she plays the piano, she played it during her Harem concerts, and I remember reading that she was learning, or wanted to learn to play the harp, but I don´t know about other instruments.
there are many types of string instruments but the most common are found in orchestras. they are the Violin, cello and the bass. other string instruments include, the harp, guitar, and although most do not know it, the piano is a string instrument.
The cello should be a little taller than its player when it has its end pin correctly up. Make sure the cello is not too big.
Based on your height, you should play a three-fourth size cello. I know this because I am an inch taller and I play the cello.
The answer to this will be a matter of personal opinion. Personally, I find using two hands to play two different parts on a piano to be frustratingly impossible. I know others (piano and string players) who can't manage to get their breathing under enough control to be able to play a brass instrument.
Yes. Knowledge is everything! The more you know the more inquisitive you are to learn more. NEVER be afraid to ask questions regarding a subject you know nothing about because that's how you learn.
What instruments do the Jonas Brothers play? They all know how to play acoustic and electric guitar, and piano. Nick also plays cello. Joe can play the tambourine and triangle as well :) Kevins an UH-MEH-ZING guitar player.
It depends on what cello you mean. Dimensions of cellos tend to vary from instrument to instrument. It also depends on what size the cello is, and what maker it has. I know, for instance, that my cello is a lot wider than other cellos classified in the same size.
I don't know about them learning on self-playing pianos, but two blind pianists were Ray Charles and Art Tatum. Hope this helps!
In the movie, "If I Stay", Chloe Grace Moretz did not already know how to play the cello. They used a body double.
I studied the cello notes and where they go, but I don't know that everyone can just play both, sometimes its hard.
Obviously, a cello is an instrument part of the strings family. Unless you're talking about 'cello' as in paper, you can't use a cello on anything. Though you can use a bow on the cello, you can't use the cello on the bow. You can see cellos in chamber groups, cluster festivals, orchestras, symphonies and traditional/classic music. As i know since I am a world performer and I have performed to the queen.
That is pretty difficult to answer because there aren't many comparisons between the guitar and piano(trust me I know how to play them both). In different ways it's harder and easier,a piano is harder to master than a guitar, playing a guitar you must have great precision,On a piano it's ok to use your thumb,on a guitar you could get carpal tunnel if you use your thumb too much. The answer to this question is:piano.
same notes as "Oh Chirstmas Tree" :) I only know part of it because im learning by ear bddgabcdea :) oh Canada our home and native land yeah sorry
Well, keyboards and pianos are basically the same. But some keyboards arent your natural 88 keys. When I first started piano lessons I had a 50 somethin keyed keyboard. But also, if you want your child to have the best feel of the piano so they will get used to it easier and get the feel of a real piano, i recommend piano. Keyboards are just plastic and don't use the power in your fingers… Read More
Yes. You just have to know how to make the cello sound like the violin, even though they're in different clefs. =)
it is 67 cm if you want to know
I know she plays the guitar, but I don't know if she plays piano.
Even though I'm 12 years old, I know the answer to this question- The biggest instrument out of a violin, a bass and a cello is: a bass.
Learning to live together Learning to know Learning to do Learning to be
that depends on your musical experience (how much you know about reading music and music theory). if you're brand new, drums will come easier. if you've played another instrument (especially piano) guitar will come easier. however, drums takes a large amount of coordination and steadiness in your feet and hands (if you didn't know, drummers use their feet to press pedals..)
The simple answer is no, you have to know exactly where to place your fingers.
You should know basic horse care and handling techniques before beginning to ride. You should also do some strength and balance training to make learning to ride a bit easier.
I don't know but you could look it up on YouTube ( I even play piano and I don't know)
I think it's Yanni at the piano. Don't know the name of the piece but I do know Yanni piano.
