Difficult to answer- would POSSIBLY be an obsolete firearm known as the Chicago Palm Pistol. This fired a .32 Extra Short cartridge, had a 1 inch barrel, and no sights. It was cupped in the hand, with the barrel protruding between the fingers, and was intended for use at touching distance.
im not sure on the law there but in Kentucky you may let other people use your firearm and you don't need to be there when they use it.
