yes
after the plant photosynthesises, it has some left over glucose that the leaves covert into starch. The starch is then stored in the chlorophyl (the green pigment in the leaves). At night or in the dark, the plant can't photosynthesise so it respires the stored starch instead
Iodine. If you ever get iodine on your clothing, it will leave a permanent stain because of the starch.
It shows the presence of Starch in the section ot the leave. during photosynthesis when Starch is being produce with the presence of sunlight. it is then tested and found that the exposable part of the leave is containing of Starch.
Yes, it is a root that stores large quantities of starch and acts as a food source for the plant, if and when necessary.
Is it necessary to leave the Number Lock key On all the time
chroroplast, the green stuff that makes the leaves green.
Not only is it necessary, it is not advised.
Starch is a complex carbohydrate. The presence of starch in leaves or plants can be detected by iodine test. In microscopic studies, starch granules can be seen under magnification inside the cells.
Aim: To find out if light is needed for the production of starch through photosynthesis. Hypothesis: Light is needed for Starch production in a Geranium leaf. Apparatus: 2 100 mL beakers 1 Petri dish 1 Geranium leaf 2 Paper Clips 1 Piece of Foil Boiling water Methylated Spirits iodine Hot Plate Method 1. Cover half of the geranium leaf with foil, using two paperclips to secure it on. 2. Leave in direct light for 1 week. 3. Uncover the leaf and place it in a 100mL beaker 4. Put boiling water in the beaker just enough to cover the leaf and leave for 30 seconds. 5. Place the leaf in the other 100mL beaker, cover with methylated spirits. Use the hot plate to keep the methylated spirits just below boiling point. Keep at this temperature until the leaf has lost all its green colour. 6. Place the leaf in the petri dish and cover with iodine. Watch the colour difference between both sides. Record the results (see below). The dark colour is the presence of starch
No
No this is not necessary. Leave it in Drive.
if its a name then just leave it alone but if not its Jimmy Verde [green]
