Oblivion is a steel roller coaster located at Alton Towers in England. It was designed by John Wardley and was the worlds first vertical drop roller coaster. The debut for this coaster was in March 1998. Oblivion is 65ft high and has a 180ft drop and has maximum speeds of 68 mph.
no,it doesn't,you're going so fast that the ride doesn't need seatbelts, centrifugal force holds you in the car:)
No!! they don't close in the Rain..but they do slow down, and they don't go as fast!! but they do not close down..I know because I've been there b4 while it's been raining!! :)
As of my last update, ticket prices for Alton Towers vary based on factors like the type of ticket (standard, fast track, etc.), time of year, and whether you book in advance. Typically, standard day tickets range from around £30 to £60 per person. For the most accurate and current pricing, it's best to check the Alton Towers official website or authorized ticket sellers.
Alton Towers offers a variety of dining options, including outlets for both Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and McDonald's. These fast-food chains provide guests with familiar meal choices during their visit. However, availability may vary by season or specific park events, so it's a good idea to check the park's dining guide for the most current options.
your solution isn't to try and avoid the scary/fast rides, but to sack up and get on them
quickly
It is fast and scary and and and and and uhh .....
The best theme park in England is probably Thorpe Park, it is filled with fun and adrenaline action, for example; if you love to live your life in the fast lane, why don't you try Stealth at it's top speed of 80mph pulling at 4.8 G-Force. Or if you like scary, spooky rides try SAW - The Ride, the world's most terrifying rollercoaster! It's the worlds steepest freefall rollercoaster with it's 100ft BEYOND VERTICAL drop with 3 death-defying inversions as you ride through 2,297ft of mean, twisted metal! Or if you love rollercoasters with lots of loops&inversions, try COLOSSUS as it's the world's only 10 looping rollercoaster with the UK's only quadruple corkscrew! If you think that's fun, feel the heat of NEMESIS INFERNO of speeds of 55mph as you plunge into a fiery pit of a volcano! With a loop, spin, side-wind and a corkscrew, and tons more of adrenaline action & thrills! If the young ones want a fun day out, i'd say Chessington World of Adventures or Legoland is perfect for the kids and the family! But Alton Towers is good too. :)
