lortab is hydrocodone with acetaminophen

percocet is oxycodone with acetaminophen

They both do the same thing, but are metabolized slightly differently by the body, and have slightly different side effects. In the US, hydro- is a schedule III drug. Oxy- is a schedule II, requiring tighter monitoring and with heavier penalties for illegal use/possession.

In blood/urine tests, they both look the same.
