It is not technically retired, but is very expensive and pretty rare, so it is kind of "unofficially" retired. Ganz never announced it to retire, and it is not shown as retired on the Webkinz Catolog, but they are no longer being made. I had a hard time getting mine. So yes, I guess in a way they are retired. If you want one, you had better get one, as they could go up even higher.
