It is a Mauser 98 type action, made in Spain by Santa Barbara. Nice rifle.
One of two manufacturers....Winchester produced a bolt action 30-06 for Sears in 1968 before the Firearms act of 1968. Another maunfacturer Hi Standard produced a commercial mauser actioned/ Hi standard barreled bolt action for Sears as well...both were discontinued after the passing of the 1968 firearms bill.
My best Guess would be to contact Husqvarna because they made it for sears. The Model 51 was made by High Stadnard using a FN Mauser action. The Model 51-L used the HVA action http://www.histandard.info/manuals/sears/cfrifles/index.html

The Sears 30/30 lever action was manufactured by Winchester Western.
The model 51 was manufactrued by High Standard using a Mauser action manufactrued by FN as was the Model 50. It was offered in .270 and .30-06 and had chromed bores. It was superceded by the model 51-L which was a sumilar rifle that used a HVA action and was offered in .243, .207, .30-06 and .308. The action of the rifle was made by Fabrique Nationale in Belgium, and was their basic commercial FN Mauser action. The receivers were manufactured on a modified Mauser action by Fabrique Nationale of Belgium. The Model 50 was made between 1951 and 1959 for Sears, Roebuck and Co. The chrome lined barrels were were manufactured by by High Standard. The most common calibers are 270 Winchester and 30-06 Springfield.
