Yes moles are endangered.
Yes; the Karkarratul, also known as the Northern Marsupial Mole, is endangered.
No it is not.
The Southern Marsupial Mole is Endangered because when it does venture to the surface it is at great risk of being eaten by: Foxes, Cats and dingos. Also train tracks interfere with there Habitat.
== == It depends on which mole you are talking about. The marsupial mole of Australia is endangered, but this is quite a different animal to the moles found in Europe, Asia and North America. These moles are not endangered; athough in some areas they are protected, in other areas they are considered agricultural pests.
According to the IUCN Red List, they are not even threatened. Instead, they are classified as "Least Concern."

De Winton's Golden Mole is a critically endangered mammal that lives in South Africa. As with so many endangered species, habitat loss has proven to be the biggest problem for this creature. There has been degradation of the De Winton's Golden mole's habitat, partially due to extraction mining activities. Also, the habitat loss for other species of moles, and other creatures that feed on worms, insects and insect larvae may drive them more into the De Winton's Golden mole's territory, providing competition for its food.Scientists and conservationists have struggled to research this elusive creature to determine its needs and how best to protect it, because its distribution (where it is found) is sparse and restricted to a narrow range of habitats.
There are many endangered animals in the outback. They include:Gilbert's potorooNorthern hairy-nosed wombatGreater bilbySouthern marsupial mole
Most likely because of the loss of habitat. Us humans have destroyed a lot of land for houses and buildings. Brandon

Only the Northern Marsupial Mole is endangered. This was not true until it was separated from the Southern Marsupial Mole as a separate species a few years ago. (Analogy: If there were one million members of a species, then it would not be endangered. But if scientists decided to divide the species into ten thousand different species based on small differences, then each new species would have only one hundred members and would be considered seriously endangered.)
